General Information:
Because our candles are handmade, texture and appearance will vary from candle to candle. This is normal and part of what makes our candles unique. You may notice what appears to be a “wet spot” on your candle or something that looks like “frost”. These are not flaws, but a natural characteristic of natural soy wax and actually a testament to the lack of paraffin and preservatives in 100% soy candles. None of these things will affect the quality, fragrance or burning properties of your candle. For this reason, we do not offer refunds for “wet spots” and/or “frost”.
Usage:
During your first burn, make sure to allow enough time to melt to the edge of your candle or a full melt. This is also called a memory burn because natural soy wax has a memory. When this is done, you will prevent tunneling. Make sure to trim your wick to ¼ inch before lighting your candle. Only burn for 2-3 hours at a time for optimum fragrance throw. Do not leave candle unattended while burning. Keep away from drafts and flammable items. Discontinue use when ½ inch of wax remains.
